The Waterfront Procurement Engineering team is responsible for expediting technical resolutions of supplier related problems, developing design and procurement information tailored to the modular construction and build strategy, and developing and driving implementation of procedural improvements that align with Electric Boat’s strategic material availability goals.
Engineers in the group interface with all facets of Electric Boat including Design, Program Office, Planning, Purchasing, Materials Services, Shipyard Test, Shipyard Trades, other Engineering departments and organizations, as well as outside material suppliers and outside engineering vendors.
