The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Manager of Non-Metallic Materials and Robotics Engineering. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task. The candidate shall exhibit a strong work ethic, and ability to work in a team setting. Previous experience as an Administrative Aide is strongly preferred. The candidate will be required to interface with different EB employees and personnel outside the company. The Non-Metallic Materials and Robotics Engineering administrative aide will be responsible for all administrative functions for D343 Non-Metallic Materials and Robotics Engineering, which includes but is not limited to the following:
- Word processing and EB Correspondence
- Distribute Documentation
- Update and maintain department web page information
- Assign and control file numbers
- Cornerstone Administration for Employees
- RADCON coordination for drills
- Ordering and maintaining supplies (i.e. Staples, Oracle, P-Card, Material Requisitions)
- Complete required accounting paperwork for material orders
- Process visit requests for department employees
- Maintain department records
- Payroll and associated activities
- Mail pickup and delivery
- Maintain department organization charts
- Facilities coordinator (i.e. new hires, moves, trouble ticket requests)
- Maintain department commitment report database, send out weekly reports
- Service Award Coordination
- IT software and hardware and Communication requests
- Employee severance and retirement preparation
- Maintain logs (Oracle Reqs, MRPII Orders, Facilities Requests, IT Requests, etc.)
- Print out weekly safety briefs for Laboratory Technicians
- Complete Monthly metrics for the Department
