Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Control Analyst for Nuclear Quality Control. This position is critical in ensuring technical accuracy, process discipline, and compliance across nuclear-related work. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing technical work documents, collecting and analyzing quality data, and presenting metrics to senior leadership. Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Create and maintain quality dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate performance data to QA/NQC management
  • Support preparations for internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and corrective actions are completed in a timely manner
  • Work closely with Nuclear Quality Control Engineering, Nuclear Operations and Nuclear Quality Control Inspectors to ensure quality objectives are met and sustained.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of NQC processes

 

This position will be reporting directly to the Supervisor of NQC Quality. This position will be for first shift and will require availability to assist on second shift as business need requires. 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • 4+ years of professional related experience
  • 1+ years experience in NQC, QA, NQCE, QAE, or NDTE
  • Proficient with ERS, CPJ, NMJR, and nuclear shielding records
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Must be available to work all shifts, weekends and extended hours as business needs dictate

Preferred: 

  • Education in Vocational, Technical, Community Colleges, or Apprentice programs
  • Previous NDT and Non-NDT experience is desired
  • Experience with the different EB record and material certification processes
  • Experience using Teamcenter
  • Previous Military/Navy related experience

Skills

  • Applicant must be able to interpret technical manuals, shipyard procedures, test documents, blueprints, and diagrams
  • Strong skills in data collection, analysts and reporting, with proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Electronic Desktop, and Mainframe.
  • Personal integrity and a commitment to uphold the high standards of nuclear work
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Applicant will be required to work in a collaborative and team environment and meet organizational goal
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Applicant must possess excellent communication skills (oral & written)
  • Must possess basic mathematical and interpersonal skills 
  • Must possess an attitude of self-motivation
  • Must be able to create and maintain a team building atmosphere
