
The Employee Relations Partner acts as a strategic partner to all employees by embedding HR strategy into day-to-day work and providing professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal client groups with the objective of adding value to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and coaching in order to become trusted advisors to our fellow shipbuilders
- Investigate violations of company policies and procedures and issue corrective action as necessary
- Engage employees on the deck plate to provide them with available resources
- Understand and solicit employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns
- Facilitate a strong leadership and coaching culture
- Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends
- Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve HR policies and initiatives
- Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement
- Identify new opportunities for HR to add value to the business
- Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR plan and contribute to functional and cross-functional initiatives
- Perform arious duties as may be assigned by supervisor
