The strategic planning and enterprise portfolio management office (EPMO) team is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the team in support of EPMO projects and the integrated enterprise plan (IEP).  The IEP is the framework that outlines the roadmap for how EB and the submarine enterprise will scale to build 2 VCS submarines and 1 CLB submarine at the same time, which is more than double our current production rate. The successful candidate must be able to work well in a team setting, effectively communicate, and be willing to drive project performance. Specific tasking would include:

• Running project status meetings, maintaining project records and resources, reporting project status to management and leadership
• Working with project stakeholders to develop project plans, working through issues and risks, ensuring accountability to cost and schedule constraints
• Developing IEP briefing materials for EB and Navy leadership
• Supporting revisions and administration of the IEP and associated metrics and meetings
• Supporting special projects and assessments

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or Engineering
• 3+ years of project management work experience in technical environment

Preferred:

• Experience interfacing with senior leadership and external customers
• Experience with project management tools (e.g, Microsoft Project)
• Experience with project management processes and running projects

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and orally
• Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize work and run multiple, concurrent tasks and problem solve
• Eagerness to learn
• Professional experience with written and verbal communication across levels and stakeholder groups
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
