We are seeking an Audit Compliance Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that inventory practices are compliant with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices. The ideal candidate will conduct audits of inventory management processes, identify areas for improvement, and work collaboratively with various departments to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Audits:
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to verify compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Analyze audit results and develop reports outlining findings, trends, and recommendations for improvements.
Compliance Monitoring:
- Monitor inventory management processes to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on changes in compliance regulations and industry best practices.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with inventory management, procurement, and finance teams to promote compliance awareness and best practices.
- Assist in the development of training programs for staff on compliance and inventory procedures.
Data Analysis and Research:
- Identify and Correct Inventory Discrepancies
- Research of Material Movement to reconcile inventory balances
- Root cause analysis
- Statistical Sampling
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of audits, compliance assessments, and corrective actions taken.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on compliance status and audit findings.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas within inventory practices that require enhancements or updates to improve compliance.
- Recommend and implement process changes to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency.
