This position is for an experienced and proactive Network Supervisor to oversee the daily operations, performance, and security of our organization’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead a team of network administrators/technicians, ensure reliable connectivity across all systems, and drive improvements in efficiency, security, and scalability.

This is an on-site position located in Groton, CT.

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• 5+ years of hands-on network administration/engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role

Perfered:

• Experience with cloud networking, SDN, or similar technologies
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.), routing/switching, firewalls, and VPN solutions.

• Experience with network automation and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization.
• Familiarity with WAN optimization and network performance tuning tools.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
• Understanding of network protocols like BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Familiarity with network security tools such as VPN, IDS/IPS, and DDoS protection.
