Electric Boat (EB) is growing its Digital Enterprise in support of the growing COLUMBIA and VIRGINIA Programs. The Digital Enterprise is a set of digital tools, processes and procedures that utilizes, but is not limited to, Siemens Teamcenter for Product Lifecycle Management and the NX CAD platform for the design, planning, material procurement, construction, certification, and maintenance of our submarines.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot and address general emergent problems within the various business systems to allow design, planning, and construction to proceed while long-term corrective actions are pursued with an enterprise view.
  • Develop solution proposals and recommendations of varying complexity to investigated problems and systemic company issues.
  • Interface with the Information Technology (IT) organization and the impacted business areas to implement new tools, processes, and associated procedures into the production environment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 0-5 years of postgraduate engineering experience 

Preferred:

  • Detail oriented with computer software experience and possesses strong communication, technical, and project management skills.
  • 2-5 years of related work experience
  • Experience working with Teamcenter, NX, CATIA/CDM, or other CAD and lifecycle management software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working level experience with IPDE processes and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects and problem resolution to closure in support of a vision/strategy

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate issues and resolution plans to stakeholders at all levels across the enterprise.
  • Self-starter capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
