About Department 472 - Reactor Plant Planning Yard
The Reactor Plant Planning Yard (RPPY) provides Engineering, Design, and Logistics life cycle support to all fleet submarines, the Moored Training Ships, and the S8G Prototype. The organization maintains technical expertise for nuclear and non-nuclear propulsion plant systems and equipment. Our mission is to provide the US Navy five-star support that increases submarine Operational Availability and Capability.
Role Overview
As a D472 Senior Test Engineer, you will support the Navy Maintenance and Material Management (3M) Program and contribute to the development, engineering, and coordination of the S8G Prototype specific Class Maintenance Plan (CMP). In this role, you will serve as the 3M/Periodic Maintenance Requirement (PMR) Coordinator, working with the S8G Prototype Maintenance Staff to provide 3M System program administration duties including:
