The successful candidate will manage up to five Operations Supervisors and seventy-five hourly employees. Provide daily direction and technical assistance to supervisors and hourly employees. Candidate will manage the performance of their group's safety, quality, cost, schedule, continuous improvement and utilize the Operations Work List (OWL) to support performance goals.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- The General Foreman will be responsible for the administration and execution of their craft's work paper (i.e., work orders, TGIs, DIs, ERs, Unsats, EWPs, Test Forms, etc.).
- Support Area Superintendents where trade expertise is required, coordinate trade work assignments with Area Superintendents, support Ship’s meetings and be accountable for trade commitments.
- They will take responsibility for mentoring new supervisor's, be responsible for special tooling and fixtures associated with their craft.
- Ensure the necessary training and qualifications are maintained for the supervisor's and hourly employees, support supervisors with labor issues, discipline, EEO and OSHA compliance.
- Develop accurate Project specific manning plans.
