Overview

The Mission:

Join our International Programs Office and play a pivotal role in the AUKUS Program and other critical international initiatives here at Electric Boat. This isn’t a typical desk job – it is a chance to build the future of global defense, working on high stakes projects with international partners.

Your Impact:

You will be the central hub, providing crucial support for all aspects of our international programs. In the Program Office you will gain a 360-degree view of how we operate, learning from the best in Design and Engineering, Planning, Finance, Legal, Construction and Facilities. Every day offers an opportunity to learn, pushing you to grow and apply your skills in a novel way.  You will move between tactical execution and strategic planning, defining the overarching vision for our programs beyond the ARTEMIS milestones. This is an opportunity to define the process, and not just be a part of it.

What You’ll be Doing: As a member of the international Program Office team you will:

Be a Global Connector: You will frequently interface with US and foreign customers, building strong, credible relationships that are essential to our success.

Lead the Logistics: Coordinate foreign travel and prepare for high-level foreign visits, ensuring every detail is perfectly managed.

Master the Strategy: Develop and maintain program policies and procedures, creating the frameworks that ensure compliance and efficiency.

Drive Performance: Create and deliver program status, manpower, and budget reports that provide critical insight and direction.

Navigate the Regulations: Become an expert in international trade compliance regulations, ensuring seamless and compliant operations at home and abroad.

Collaborate Across the Enterprise: Work closely with EB Legal, Security, Contracts, and Finance teams to drive program goals forward.

Qualifications

Required:

  • BS or BA Degree or higher
  • 4+ years of experience in the defense or government contracting industry 

Preferred:

 

  • Advanced degree (legal, engineering, or business administration)
  • Previous experience managing or supporting international defense or government programs
  • In-depth, demonstrated understanding of the ITAR and other relevant export control regulations
  • Experience in program management, with a focus on international programs and contract management
  • Active DOD clearance
