Overview

Electric Boat’s Facilities and Real Estate Department is searching for an individual to fulfill the important role of MNR (Moves & Re-arrangements) Program Representative.  This position will be responsible for managing daily support of office moves and reconfigurations for Electric Boat. Listed below are some of the many responsibilities for which this individual will be responsible:

  • Manage vendors who support daily operations for facilities i.e. moves, reconfigurations, setups
  • Support facilities project leads with move and outfit support as necessary for larger scale projects
  • Support company events i.e. blood drives, family day
  • Manage day to day workorders & ergonomic requests
  • Work with facilities coordinators (Floor Captain Program) to ensure uniformity across all EB facilities. This role educates coordinators of their roles and responsibilities related to facilities MNR requests.
  • Direct support for Navy requests i.e. PCU’s, general requests
  • Maintain capital asset tracking for the facilities Real Estate group
  • Submit PEWO’s and Capital Project Request forms related to daily operational support and support projects
  • Execute small/medium facilities renovation projects
  • Manage day to day inventory to support facilities operations

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of previous experience directly related to the job description and in the area of special planning, facility management, design, or construction industry
  • Ability and experience to effectively use Microsoft programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

Preferred:

  • BS

Skills

  • Strong project management and personnel management skills required
  • Ability to motivate and lead multi-disciplinary project management, design, and construction teams
  • Strong budget, and schedule management and reporting skills
  • Ability and experience to effectively use Microsoft programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
