The selected candidate will be report directly to the Site Manager and be responsible to coordinating the security processes and manning of the Kings Bay facility. The position requires supporting EB personnel and subcontractor workforce performing planned maintenance, corrective maintenance, alterations and upgrades to the facility. This candidate will validate the background checks and security clearances of incoming and existing personnel within the department.
The candidate selected will also be responsible for the new hire and onboarding process for the department the interaction between Groton Facilities Human resources team. The Program Representative will work develop, evaluate and plan for future facility manning growth. This responsibility includes extensive planning, manning development, and security office interaction.
The candidate selected must be highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills and communication. In addition, the individual must have effective problem solving and critical thinking skills and must be able to cultivate and promote a positive TEAM environment.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Represent EB in a professional manner
- Build and sustain a successful relationship
- Operate to company Policies and Procedures
- Establish and sustain a positive workplace climate reinforce desired workforce values behaviors, maintain morale
- Point of contact for site visitors
- Point of contact with suppliers for contractor badging requirements, SP9-7 and IT submissions
- Responsible for requesting and initializing system application requests and associated training (ie. ATA, ERS, ATICTS, AWPSS)
- Support the EB Management team with administrative duties as necessary
- Mentor contractors in the process of accessing EB assets with temporary Pin numbers and Passwords.
- Network with EB IT, Security and UNISY regarding problem recognition and resolution
- Employee may be required to work other than normal hours, to include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Shift work and emergence overtime may be required
- Must be able to travel if required. Expected business travel to other EB facilities in support of the Program
- Assist in HR related tasks as required by the site manager and his staff.
- Build a successful relationship with the Kings Bay Naval Shipyard base security and SWFLANT
- Work hand in hand with the Site Ensure communications are maintained and they are informed of important issues
- Process onboarding for new hires and departmental
- Processing visit requests from incoming/outgoing visitors
