Electric Boat is seeking a qualified applicant to provide daily administrative support to our modular construction/outfitting center. The selected applicant will be supporting multiple Managers of Operations as well as Area Managers and Operations Supervisors in this work center and across multiple shifts. Qualified applicants must possess a high degree of professionalism, be able to maintain confidentiality with all business and personnel matters and capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Applicant must be able to support time-critical assignments and competent to inter-face with all levels of management throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

• Maintaining and updating department key metrics
• Managing the overtime database
• Maintaining records on specific qualifications and requirements of the hourly personnel within the department
• Develop, maintain and update various reports as needed
• Generate department memos
• Establish meeting minutes
• Develop business presentations
• Establish weekly agendas for supervisors to ensure they understand their individual performance
• Monitor and maintain overhead account expenditures
• Knowledge of Concur (Travel Expense)
• Manage Outlook Calendars for multiple Managers
• EBOS delay logs
• Other duties as required

This is a SECOND SHIFT position located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of Administrative Assistant/Secretarial experience
• Strong computer skills (MS Office suite, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.)
• Available to work extended hours as business needs dictate

Preferred:

• College degree
• Experience in office administration/office management 

• Willing to work in a collaborative team environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem resolution skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
