About Department 422 Integrated Logistics Support
The D422 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) organization supports all non-nuclear Electric Boat submarine programs for the OHIO Replacement Program (COLUMBIA Class) and VIRGINIA Class. The six (6) discipline groups that provide the support include: Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) groups comprised of System Safety and Software Safety, Obsolescence Management Team (OMT), Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM), Ship Specification Development, Stowages, and Systems Integration.
Role Overview
The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Department (D422) has an opening for an Engineer to support Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) tasking on current and future submarine programs.
RAM tasking plays an important role in the development, evaluation, verification and validation of the solution created by the Design-Build-Sustain (DBS) process.
Key Responsibilities
The selected individual will support RAM efforts for multiple programs in a variety of capacities; perform RAM tasks with minimal oversight, once trained in RAM methods and processes; and interface with responsible System Integration Team (SIT), DBS Team, and RAM Process Integration Team (PIT) personnel on a regular basis.
