Overview

Electric Boat Talent Acquisition is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition sourcing professional with a passion for connecting veterans, transitioning military, and military spouses to meaningful civilian careers in building the world's finest submarines. In this role, you will building and maintain strong veteran talent pipelines by proactively sourcing, engaging, and qualifying candidates for a wide range of roles across Electric Boat.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source veteran candidates using a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, OpLign, RecruitMilitary, TalentNeuron, veteran job boards, military transition programs, social media, referrals, community partnerships, in-person recruiting events, and more
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future openings
  • Translate military occupational specialties to Electric Boat jobs
  • Conduct initial outreach and screening conversations to assess interest, qualifications, and career goals
  • Partner closely with Electric Boat's Veteran Outreach Partner, Talent Acquisition Sourcer, Talent Acquisition Partners, Hiring Managers to support hiring goals
  • Track sourcing activity in iCIMS and Power BI
  • Occasionally represent Electric Boat at career fairs, hiring events, and networking sessions (in-person and virtual)
  • Ensure a positive and respectful candidate experience

This position would be located onsite in our Groton, Connecticut office location.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in talent sourcing
  • Experience sourcing with Linkedin Recruiter, Indeed or other equivalents
  • High School diploma or GED

 

Preferred:

  • Veteran, military spouse, or prior experience working in military or veteran-focused organizations
  • Knowledge of military ranks, structures, and occupational codes
  • Familiarity with Oplign and RecruitMilitary systems
  • Experience with ATS platforms, iCIMS in particular
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with manufacturing

  • Talent sourcing in online platforms
  • Proficiency in ATS platforms
  • Ability to form relationships and engage with candidates electronically
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Data tracking and reporting
