Individuals selected for this position will be responsible for development and execution of projects supporting current and future VIRGINIA Class design efforts, design changes, and system improvement tasking. D493 – Pressure Hull and External Structures - Engineers are responsible for supporting the detail design and analysis of submarine pressure hull structures including tanks, trunks, and bulkheads as well as structures external to the pressure hull including the bow, sail, super structure, stern, and control surfaces.
